Deciding on a wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions about your wedding you will make - ultimately they are the person who creates your memories of one of the most important days of your life. As dramatic as that may sound it is completely true! So many friends and family were disappointed with the wedding photographer they had chosen and it really coloured how they felt about the day. Luckily for myself and Pete we chose Jo who was an absolute joy and has created the most beautiful photos that captured the spirit and the joy we felt on our wedding day perfectly. From the moment that she arrived for the getting ready shots (10.30am) to when her and her husband Chris left (10pm) she made sure that her priority was capturing our day in the way that we wanted - with absolutely no agenda of her own. She made the whole experience easy and calm- with most guests forgetting that she was there and relaxing around her. Less than a week after the wedding she had emailed the link to the website where all our photos were uploaded, followed closely by our beautifully presented memory stick. There is no one in the shropshire area who will do such a fantastic job for such a reasonable price, alongside being a lovely person who will make you feel at ease. If you get the chance to snap her up don't hesitate it will be the best decision you make.

We asked Jo to be our photographer on our big day and we couldn't have been happier or asked for anything more! Such a lovely person, instructive and so creative with her shots and ideas as well as being very competitively priced. Two photographers meant we had photos of both the bridal party and groomsmen in the morning and meant we had lots of different shots and angles from our big day. I couldn't recommend Jo highly enough.

I'm struggling where to even start!!!! Before meeting you we knew instantly that you were our photographer and it was by far the best decision we made. Not only are you amazing at what you do but you are equally an amazing person who I have particularly grown fond of your kind nature and your personality completely won me over the second I met you!! Jo and her husband Chris made an absolute spectacular job of our wedding photos! They are great people to have alongside you on your special day, as they are warm and welcoming and really take on board the style of photos you require, whilst also giving great ideas as well. We cannot thank you enough for providing us with such stunning memories of our special day, everyone who has seen them has commented on how good they are. The photos show not just the people and venue but manage to portray the atmosphere of the day. We both wanted a mix of formal and informal shots and it was like reliving the whole day when we went through them, most people were not aware when some shots were taken which shows how unobtrusive you both were. Some of our favourite shots are the ones where people were unaware and as such the pictures are really relaxed and natural, but to be honest all of the pictures are amazing so it’s difficult to choose an absolute favourite. It was such a difficult choice choosing 60 pictures from the well over 600 pictures taken, but having the dvd means that we have not missed out on any of the pictures and have been able to put these pictures on our electronic photo frame so we can see them all (a very useful wedding present !) The photo book is amazing and tells the story of the day so when we have shown family and friends who were unable to attend they have got a real feel for the day. We cannot recommend you highly enough to my friends and to anyone who is considering using you. Thank you again for such fantastic pictures and wonderful memories!!

Jo took our wedding pictures back in June of this year. From the time we saw her website we knew she was the one for us. Her prices were great & the fact that we got 2 photographers on our wedding day for that price was FAB. Jo came to our house & spoke about what she did, but also was open to changes in the pictures that we wanted taking. She attended the rehearsal both at the church and came to the reception venue before the wedding which put our minds at ease, as she went through some shots she was going to be taking and where. So at least we knew where we needed to be at any certain time. On the day her professionalism shone through. The shots that she took were amazing & when we got the CD through we could not believe how may lovely shots she had taken both in colour & black and white. Guests also commented how nice she was & how she put them at ease throughout the day. We did not expect to have so many beautiful pictures at the end, but all we can say is the best day of our lives was captured by THE BEST. Thanks Jo you’re a true star -x-

Thank you for capturing all the special moments of our day. Despite the bride running very late due to mother-of-the-bride's 'hat problems', you ensured that all the key shots were taken with no hassle at all. We got married at Rowton Castle in Shrewsbury and having researched photographers in the area the only one we considered was Jo Edwards - the pictures on her website were beautiful. We were delighted that Jo was available on our day. Jo was excellent in the otherwise stressful build up to our day, making sure that our requirements were understood and contributing some useful suggestions. We felt reassured that the photography would all be under control! On the day we couldn't have asked for more. Jo was very patient with us and was happy to fit in around our plans. Jo made sure that all the photos we had requested were taken and took responsibility for making sure that all of the group photos we had asked for were arranged. The photos themselves were incredible - a mixture of set pieces and casual shots that captured the atmosphere of the day. The CD we received had more photos than we could have imagined - the hardest part was choosing which ones to put in our album. The album was of exceptional quality, and something we will treasure for years to come. We found Jo Edwards on the Internet the year before we were getting married. We emailed to see if she was free on the 30th Oct 2009 to do our photos, lucky for us she was! She came to our house for a meeting and to show us her albums, we were very impressed with her work and her as a person, so we booked. On our big day Jo and her husband came, they both took pictures throughout the day and into the night, half of the time we didn't even know they were there, all our guests were also very impressed with them (because some photographers can be very bossy!!). When we got our CD with our pictures on, we just could not choose because they were all really good, so in the end we left it to Jo to pick and what a fab job she did!!! We had a photobook and the pictures told the story of our wedding from getting ready to the first dance.... fantastic!!! We are so pleased with the service we got from Jo and would recommend her to everyone, thank you so much Jo xxx

A big thank you!! to you Jo and your husband Chris, you really did go the whole mile when it came to our wedding!! When we found out on the morning of our wedding day, 30mins before we were due at the church, that our wedding cars were not going to arrive, you went above and beyond expectations of any photographer, you took me and my Bridesmaids to the church yourself, taking the stress away so I could get to the church on time to marry my now husband. From start to finish you helped make our wedding day perfect. The professionalism held on the day was superb and the photo's capturing our perfect day are amazing!
